abstract This session focuses on how to get published. The presenter will lead participants through the process of what happens to an article from the time it is first received until it appears in print. Included in the discussion are topics such as: what editors look for, fitting the article to the publication, submitting the article and what to do if the article is rejected. Time is provided at the end of the session for participants' questions. | |

Biodata Phil Quirke is Head of Abu Dhabi Men's College, Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. He has been in educational management for over fifteen years and has published extensively on teacher development. He is active in TESOL Arabia and TESOL. Phil is also section editor for the Out of the Box section of the Essential Teacher. |
